Monsters on the Mesa is the annual big fundraiser for the Parents Advisory Committee (PAC) for The International School at Mesa Del Sol. As parents we strongly believe in the education that TIS at Mesa Del Sol provides as a public charter school open to all students in the Albuquerque area. Offering a certified International Baccalaureate World School primary school program and working toward a certified middle years program is financially challenging as a charter school.

 

All proceeds from Monsters on the Mesa directly benefit the students and teachers of the school. PAC uses the money to purchase a wide variety of classroom needs, equipment, educational resources and help all student to be able to participate in educational experiences.Thanks for participating in our event this year.

 

For those of you who have run Monsters on the Mesa in the past we are changing some things this year with the run.

 

First of all we are excited to have a 10K run for those of you who are looking for a good training run or are just looking to push yourself a little more.

 

The second thing is that the whole run will be on trails.  Last year the run course crossed the road a couple times. This year the run will be all on trails heading out onto the mesa.  You will almost forget you are still in the city with awesome views of the mountains.

 

 

We are working hard to make this the best year yet for this event!
